Spine
Back and neck pain can have many causes. In the physiotherapy assessment, we find the right treatment path together – so you can get back to what matters to you.
Diagnoses
Non-specific Back Pain
Non-specific back pain is the most common form of back pain – often without a clear structural cause. That does not mean nothing can be done about it. Physical, psychological, and social factors frequently interact. A thorough history helps identify these influences and tailor the treatment plan accordingly.
Disc Herniation
Disc herniations occur most commonly in the cervical and lumbar spine and can cause pain radiating into the arm or leg. In most cases they can be treated without surgery. The goal of therapy is to reduce pain, gradually build load tolerance, and give you more confidence in your body.
Spinal Canal Stenosis
In spinal canal stenosis the spinal canal is narrowed. Typical symptoms include pain, numbness, or a heavy feeling in the legs, especially when walking or standing for longer periods. Physiotherapy aims to ease symptoms and progressively restore your everyday load capacity. Treatment is tailored individually to your complaints and personal goals.
Post-Operative Spinal Rehabilitation
After spinal surgery, the gradual return to everyday life, work, or sport begins – and structured rehabilitation is essential. Too much rest is just as counterproductive as loading too early. With an individual progressive plan, I'll guide you safely through the phases of recovery.
Neck Pain
Neck pain can have many causes and often comes with restricted movement or pain radiating into the shoulder, arm, or head. A thorough physiotherapy assessment helps identify contributing factors and tailor treatment individually to your complaints and goals.
